Usually, August is one of the driest, hottest months for our area. But the rains keep coming. It's been thundering off and on since I woke up and the sun is refusing to shine. But the day is beautiful just the same. Storm spotting takes me away from my computer but I value the experience and the opportunity to perhaps help someone avoid tragedy one day.
Yesterday was filled with many things. Read on to find out more.
I'm Writing Again!
Well, to be more precise, I'm editing again. I'm finished with school planning for now. So I was able to get back to the final edit on Ripples. I hope I can nail down the chapter I'm working on now quickly so I can work a bit on the maps. I really need those knocked out this week. And since I changed my plan for the border, I added to the work already ahead. <sigh> It is what it is. Even the best laid plans must sometimes be changed.
#AugustBreak2018 Day 6 - Spacious
I had originally planned to take a photo of the sky. And the photo I finally shared did include the sky, but it was so gray. The gold of the fields and green of the levees added such a nice punch of color. I honestly can't think of anything on earth more spacious than farmland, at least around here.
I know it's a short post, but I've really got so much to do for Ripples to be published on time. Thanks for sticking with me through my journey. October looms on the horizon and I'm off to meet it!
