This set of responses proved to be more fun than work. I particularly enjoyed creating a cast for my book, though I hope my books are /never/ turned into any form of movie or TV series. <sigh> I just want them to stay in book format. There's no way the story could be told well, and certainly not in a way I agree with from what I've experienced in my lifetime.
Love Your Novel Writing Challenge - Week 3 Responses
This week was a challenge indeed! Day 20 was especially hard. I don't know about any other writer but I'm super picky about details. I'd prefer if the character and the actor meet very closely along visual lines to begin with. And I think I nailed that for the most part. Also, I was reading through my WIP last night and I realized I got two of my side characters mixed up as far as the cast goes. Anyway, I'll elaborate on the challenges a little more for you. :)
“Hali.” No response. “Hali!” he rasped and tightened his grip on her shoulder again. Liha refocused on Tor. “Hali, I will take care of you. You are my first priority above all. I also gave my word to deliver Ise to the mountain shrine safely and I must do that. Once it’s done, neither of us can stay there. I have work to do back in my home and Haya Ne will be missing you.”
Be sure to check back next Wednesday for the conclusion of my interview with indie author Elizabeth D. Marie!
