So round one of editing on the passages I posted over the past seven days. Does that mean I'm finished? Not at all! It only means my story will get better from here on. I'll keep polishing my work until it's good and shiny. And then, if the budget allows, I'll find an editor to help me make my project the best it can be. If not, I'll do my best with the help of some volunteers and go from there. Either way, progress on book two is moving along and I'm so excited by the things I've learned over the past month up to this point. Read on to see how I responded to yesterday's challenge prompts...

It's so true! Your work and your readers deserve your best effort. Keep working on your project until it shines brilliantly. That's what I'm doing now.
#fantasywipjanuary Day 28 - What's your proudest writing moment?
I think my proudest moment in writing this month actually happened while I was taking a break and watching a TV show with my family. I think I've figured out how to fill a gaping plot hole toward the end of book two. I'm super happy about it! ...If it works...
If you're playing along with my writing challenge, are you ready for the wrap-up that starts tomorrow (or today if you're responding on IG)? I feel like I need three days of looking back to remind me how far I've come since the beginning of the year. OLUS has been a challenge since I wrote the rough draft during Nano 2017 and I'm just so glad to be working on it again. It's still a daunting task and I feel very overwhelmed. But I know if I take a little time and look back over what I've accomplished this month during the revisions, it will encourage me to continue on until I'm ready to publish it in the autumn. If you are posting responses on IG, please use the hashtag (#writingthesenseschallenge) so I can rejoice with you over your victories.
