March Writing Challenges Week 4

3/27/2020

We've come to the final full week of challenge responses and I can't wait to share them with you. I'm almost ready to get started on my Camp Nano work, too. What are we waiting for? Let's dive in!

Historical Romance Book Reviews, Current Read, & TBR Additions for March Week 4

3/25/2020

I really need a new title for these review/current read/TBR posts. I'm laughing at my extremely long and rather boring moniker for this post and thinking of how readers will view it. I've included a poll at the end of this post with a few options for the Wednesday post titles. I'd love to get your input.
On with the reviews!

March Writing Challenges Week 3 & Some Big News!

3/20/2020

So glad to see you here! Thanks once again for keeping up with my progress on this writing journey. I hope I never get to the point where I eventually ended up with my artwork. I just kind of wound down and my creative well ran dry after a while. I still have ideas but just no energy or ambition to devote to them. I haven't dropped it completely because I'm still creating art for my books. But it's no secret to anyone who knows me well I have a tendency to drop things if I feel they've become more of a burden than a joy.
Writing's always been easier for me than art, so that's a point in its favor. I hope writing never gets to the point of being a burden for me. I want to continue to enjoy writing. I'd sacrifice this blog before giving up on my novels, but I hope I don't allow myself to get to the point where that becomes necessary.
If y'all pray, please continue to lift me up. Writing has been a struggle since last year I decided to push Over Land & Under Stone into the number 3 slot for the Children of Y'Dahnndrya series. That was not an easy decision since I talked it up so much as book two. But I know in the long run, it'll be better for the series as a whole and the readers, I believe, will be more satisfied.
Moving on to the challenges! And don't forget to read to the end so you don't miss my big news!

March Week 3: Multi-genre Book Reviews, What I'm #CurrentlyReading, & a #TBR Addtion

3/18/2020

Thanks for coming back! Or if it's your first visit, thanks for choosing my blog! I hope you'll enjoy what you read here and maybe find something of interest to check out. For those who've been reading a while, are you enjoying the new sections for what I'm currently reading and what I've added to my to-be-read list? I'd love to get your feedback. I sometimes wonder if I share too much information in a single post.
For now, let's check out those book reviews...

March Writing Challenges Week 2

3/13/2020

I'm doing all I can to get everything set up here at the blog for March and April posts to go out as they should. I want to totally focus on editing and writing during Camp Nano and if my attention is torn between blogging and writing/editing, that's tough. Check out my responses to the current IG challenge and read on to see how the editing is going so far.

March: Week 2 - Contemporary Romance Book Reviews, #CurrentlyReading & #TBR

3/11/2020

I think I probably said this in last week's post but the rest of the month is going to be filled with romance book reviews since I finished out 2019 with a ton of them. If that's not something you're interested in, don't worry! I've added a nice variety of books to my #TBR stack and I'm reading more variety to share with you in the #currentlyreading section. I hope you'll keep coming back to check those out. :)
Anyway, let's continue!

March Writing Challenges: Week 1

3/6/2020

I'm getting down to the nitty-gritty this month. Nano prep time is here! Camp starts in April and I want to be ready to get a lot of editing done during the next two months. I'd love to have The Tale of Outh'n Durr fully loaded on Wattpad and get those final chapters of Surge completed at last! I've definitely got my work cut out for me. Check out what I've been up to this past week!

March Week 1: Historical Romances, My Current Read, and New TBR

3/4/2020

Yep. I finished out 2019 with mostly romance books. Once I've shared all my 2019 book reviews, I'll start sharing those from this year. In an effort to get through them quickly, I'm going to share two at a time from now until I finish, which should be some time next month. I hope you'll find something you think you might like.
