I made it to the end of another month of 2020! Or at least, my blog prep made it this far. I hope I have followed in its footsteps. ^.^ I have a couple of contemporary cowboy romance novel reviews for you today, as well as additions to the books I'm currently reading and my to-be-read stack. Welcome back to week three of my April book notes! This week, I've got some indie books for you. I wish I could say my reviews were more glowing but these definitely show some potential. The authors deserve kudos for their bravery in publishing these themselves after putting in lots of hard work on the actual writing.
Let me share them with you!

April Writing Challenges & Camp Nano Progress Week 2

4/10/2020

The second week of April  is already upon us and wow! You really don't understand how time flies until you have too much to do and not enough time to seemingly accomplish those things. This is why time drags so slowly for kids. Can I shift some of these responsibilities to someone else? No?

OK, OK, I know. Time to get moving on those challenge responses!

March Challenges End; April Writing Challenges & Camp Nano Begin- Week 1

4/3/2020

Do you enjoy writing? I do and I learned exactly how much I love it when I participated in my first National Novel Writing Month event in November 2016. I wrote my first full-length novel over the course of the next year and published it in November 2018.
Does every Nano participant do this? Not at all! Some just write because they enjoy it, without thought of publishing their work. Others participate to hone their writing skills. Nanowrimo is for every writer, whether pro, intermediate, or complete beginner -- whether the goal is writing with a view to publish or writing for the love of words.
This month, I'm going to be sharing weekly updates on my progress during the first round of Camp Nano. Click to read more about how things went during my first week.

April Book Notes: Week 1

4/1/2020

You'll notice there's been a title change. I hope it will accurately and simply reflect the content of my regular Wednesday offerings: book reviews, what I'm currently reading, and what I've added to my to-be-read stack. What do you think?
As we move into April, who knows what will happen considering the circumstances that have been affecting every continent, except Antarctica. I may not get enough posts prepped in time, depending on how crowded our internet signal becomes once everyone starts having to stay home. I'll do my best, though. I just wanted to let everyone know if I start missing posts, it's only because I wasn't able to get enough done in advance. Y'all stay healthy!
On to the bookish things!
