This week's book review is another YA fantasy. I can't wait to share my review with you so let's get right to it!
Good day to you, Readers! How's your summer/winter going (depending on the hemisphere). I'm late writing this post. I usually write and schedule posts a little ahead of time but school planning has been at the forefront of my mind since the new curriculum came in. xD Well, I'm just glad the storm passing through hasn't taken out our electricity yet. So very quickly...before I'm unable to post...
The second week of June comes to an end and I'm doing my best to keep up with these awesome challenges. In spite of life being busy in different ways and in different time slots, I'm doing the victory dance (in my mind of course) over the fact that I've kept up this far. Read on to see my responses for this week's round of challenge prompts.
This post goes out with a somewhat heavy heart. I like so many things about CB Stone's 'Awakening' but I just felt like there was a lot more that could've been done with it. Read on to see more of what I mean.
Now that our oldest daughter's graduation party is done, I'm looking forward to digging back into my revisions on OLUS. Most of it will need to be rewritten but I think it will mean awesome results in the end, even if I have to push back the publication date.
So let's get on with those challenge results!
Welcome Summer! I'm starting mine off with a bang, as you saw in Monday's blog post...unless you're a new reader, in which case you can click here to read that post. I'm working on four writing challenges and therein lies the challenge. I keep forgetting to actually post the challenges. So it's not answering the prompts that has been so hard this go round. I need to get better at scheduling and time management. Anyway, I did manage to keep up this week. Read on to see how I did.
This month, I thought I'd try to focus more on fantasy book reviews. The first one I've chosen to share with you is "Maiden's Wolf" by Lisa Blackwood. It's the third in her "In Deception's Shadow" series. Read on to check out my thoughts on it.
The challenge I took on for May finished up on Friday. I have one photo to share with you from the challenge that didn't get into Friday's blog post. I was able to find the photo prompt I wanted to work with so I shared that instead. I would also like to share it with you.
Then you'll be able to see the four...yes, four...new challenges I'm working on this month. One of them will help me knock out the map for book two. On to the challenges!
