Hosting a giveaway is no walk in the park but I had a lot of fun with my last one. This time, I'm so happy to be joined by my husband who blogs over at JD Kittles Creative Digital. He's been taking awesome nature and weather photographs for years now and gets better every day. He recently started pushing his YouTube channel a little more and it's paid off. (Join us in celebrating his new milestone: 500 views on YouTube!) He's inspired me to work harder on my own YouTube channel, I can tell you.
Anyway, we thought this was a great way for us to do something fun together while also introducing his relatively new blog to the world. We've worked really hard to create five themed prize packages, combining our love of books and photography. I can't wait to share so let's get to it!
I'm coming to the end of the challenges I took on for June. Camp Nanowrimo is around the corner and school starts two weeks or so after that. Just a heads-up...after July, I'm going back to posting only twice a week so I can keep blogging on our school blog, too. I just wanted my readers to be aware of how things are going in my life now and what I expect to happen blog-wise in the near future.
Anyway, on with the challenge responses!
Today's book review has been a long time coming. I think I won this book back in late February or early March and have only just gotten a chance to read it. To be honest, it got buried in the mountain of free books I've been finding through Bookbub and Book Funnel promotions from some of the author blogs I follow. I humbly apologize to Jameson C. Smith for taking so long to read it! Ready for the review? Let's get started...
This week has been hovering around nightmare level. I've been so busy trying to get something special ready for my blog readers during the month of July. Keep up with my posts so you don't miss that. If you're signed up for my newsletter, I'll be sending an extra email all about the special surprise so you can know exactly what's coming up and when during the month. Trust me. It'll pay to be a newsletter subscriber. ;)
On with the weekend challenge responses!
Week 3 has come to a close and I can't believe July is right around the corner. I probably won't do more than one writing challenge next month. I'll also drop the Monday blog posts since next month is a Camp Nano month. Is anyone else participating?
Anyway, on with the challenge responses!
This week's book review is another YA fantasy. I can't wait to share my review with you so let's get right to it!
Good day to you, Readers! How's your summer/winter going (depending on the hemisphere). I'm late writing this post. I usually write and schedule posts a little ahead of time but school planning has been at the forefront of my mind since the new curriculum came in. xD Well, I'm just glad the storm passing through hasn't taken out our electricity yet. So very quickly...before I'm unable to post...
The second week of June comes to an end and I'm doing my best to keep up with these awesome challenges. In spite of life being busy in different ways and in different time slots, I'm doing the victory dance (in my mind of course) over the fact that I've kept up this far. Read on to see my responses for this week's round of challenge prompts.
This post goes out with a somewhat heavy heart. I like so many things about CB Stone's 'Awakening' but I just felt like there was a lot more that could've been done with it. Read on to see more of what I mean.
Now that our oldest daughter's graduation party is done, I'm looking forward to digging back into my revisions on OLUS. Most of it will need to be rewritten but I think it will mean awesome results in the end, even if I have to push back the publication date.
So let's get on with those challenge results!
