I know I usually post on Fridays but I didn't want you to miss out. The "Ripples Book Release Giveaway 2018" ends Friday, November 30, 2018 at 12:00 am. Hurry and take advantage of this chance to win one of two cool prize packages. Two lucky winners will each get a copy of my book and some nifty bookish merch. Together, the prize packages are worth over $90.00 (USD)! For more information, click here to go to the blog post about the giveaway. And if you'd rather see more info before going, then read on for more info on the giveaway and how to purchase my books.
I've got two book reviews for you today! I had largely stopped reading romance novels but since my latest WIP will have a little more of the romance element in it, I thought it might be good to study up a bit. Granted, my idea of romance differs greatly from the masses, so I still may miss the mark as far as anyone else is concerned. We'll see, I guess. :) Read on for the book reviews! They're short but I think they give just enough info to give you an idea of what you're getting into.
Challenges indeed! These have been really hard for me to keep up with for some reason. I may be that I've got several stories going on in my head right now and I've had to answer some of the challenges with responses relating to books 1-3, rather than my current WIP. It could also be that my schedule was totally derailed by the need to have surgery. But whatever the case, I catch up when I can and just keep going forward. Read on to check out my responses for the past week.
There's still time to participate in my giveaway. As a matter of fact, you have until next Friday (November 30, 2018 @ 12:00 am) to enter to win one of two awesome prize packages. For all the details, click here to read the blog post, check out the Rafflecopter terms and conditions (shared below in PDF format), and then enter the giveaway. Want to see what's included before committing? Read on!
I have another short book review for you! Montana Snowfall by Caroline Fyffe is a historical romance set in the late 1800s. I wondered if it would be exactly like others I'd read before. And while the situations in this book weren't exactly new, Mrs. Fyffe tackled them in new and interesting ways, exactly as a good author should.
It's not long, but I hope it will encourage you to give it a try. Last week was a real struggle for me. With so many things going on right now, it was super hard to concentrate. I managed to stay above the goal line, though, on my Nano goal tracker, so I'm still counting myself victorious. Read on to find out how I responded to the writing challenges for days 8 - 14.
As you know, my first book is published and I'm super excited to host my first giveaway! I had so much fun creating bookish themed merch and can't wait to hear your thoughts on the two prize packages I've gathered. You also probably remember that I've got several Y'Dahnndrya related items for sale on Zazzle. I thought I'd take the opportunity to show you how nifty they look IRL and two lucky winners will get to do just that. :) Read on for more info, how to participate and a nifty photo of all the cool bookish things you could win!
If you enjoy Christian contemporary romance, might I encourage you to check out Leaving November by Deborah Raney? It certainly surprised me.
Not only am I trying to hammer out a staggering 3337 words per day for Nanowrimo, I'm also hosting a giveaway this month! It's my first and I'm super nervous about it. But those two things can't daunt my excitement. I hope you'll be looking forward to it. I'll be giving away two prize packages which include items like a hardback or paperback copy of my new book Ripples, a small (and framed) poster print of the book cover, an Y'Dahnndrya themed tote or travel journal, and more! You'll have to stay tuned for Friday's post to hear all the details and sign up to win. Read on to hear about the challenges of November.
As you know (if you've been reading my blog since the beginning), I originally started writing during my preparation for Nano in November of 2016. (It was actually October if you count all the preparation.) I thought it'd be a fun thing for my girls and I to do together. Being able to incorporate it into our home school classroom was pretty cool, too. I never thought it would light a spark that would fan into a flaming passion for novel writing in my heart.
