If you've been following my blog, you'll note I've done something different with the dates in the title. You're probably asking yourself how I can share posts from the future. I'm happy to say I'm not. I won't be writing tomorrow at all, and I've already written the line I want to share for today. I won't have the word count to share yet, but I can update that later. I just wanted to be certain this post went out on time. I was so busy prepping for Thanksgiving on Wednesday and Thursday, as well as super busy on Monday and Tuesday trying to get as many words as possible written. Whew! It's been a long week.
On with the challenge responses!
November Book Reviews: "Her Heart for the Asking" & "Her Last First Kiss" & a Happy Thanksgiving to You All!
As promised last week, I've got some contemporary romance book reviews for you today. I hope you'll see something that interests you. Read on to check out what I thought of these two books.
Thanks for coming back to check out this week's selection of lines. :) I appreciate you taking your time to visit. I got a chance to write with my fellow local Wrimos at a regional write-in. That's always fun and encouraging. So how are things going with your current project, dear Reader? Let me know in the comments below! :)
This week, I've got a couple of fantasy book reviews to share with you. I really enjoyed these two books. One of them is a full-sized novel. The other is a novella. Both authors have created rich worlds to set their stories in. Read on to check out my reviews.
Hey there, fellow Wrimos! And hey to all of you faithful readers! :) I hope November has been a beautiful month for you so far. I'm finding it to be quite the challenge, both in writing and in my home life. Christmas is fast approaching and I'm making homemade things for Christmas this year. I still have so much to do!
The two challenges I'm working on are going fairly well. I've missed two of the writing prompts so far, I think. Perhaps it was three? But if you'd like to see snippets of my work, I'm still sharing a line (or a few) a day. Read on to check out how the challenges went this past week!
Notice: Once again, I'm sharing two books which are non-fiction, Christian faith-based books. If that's not something you wish to read about, check back next Wednesday when I'll have more fiction reviews to share. But, if you enjoy hearing about my faith journey and what I think about the faith-based books I read, please continue on...
I've decided to set my own challenge this month, but since the #1WordPromptChallenge (hosted by @mjvaughn1_author on IG) is likely to coincide at several points with what I'm writing, I'm also taking part in that challenge. Since I'm working on a NaNoWriMo project, I'm calling my challenge the #MyNano2019Update Challenge. It is simply a running tally of my word count for the current day and a line (or several lines) from that day's writing. Want to see more? Read on!
November Book Reviews: "Following Francis: The Franciscan Way for Everyone" & "Forgotten God: Reversing Our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit"
Notice: This week's books are non-fiction with a focus on the Christian faith. If that's not your thing, or you feel you might be offended, then please don't worry about reading further. However, if you wonder about my own faith journey and how that may be influencing me as an author, then feel free to see what I had to say about these to books by reading on.
This marks the end of the #1WordPromptChallenge and I hope you've enjoyed the posts I've shared. I know some of them were not about writing, but I assure you they contribute. I am more than just an author and ever activity I pursue inspires me in many different ways. Some of the things I learn while doing non-writing activities will show up in my written work from time to time. :) Anyway, check out my last week of challenge prompts, minus one day.
