The last week of writing challenges is finally here and I can't keep saying, "I can't believe how fast the time has passed!" Time always passes fast, especially once you get to my age, I guess. I don't really feel older. I just feel like I am me no matter what age I am...if that makes sense.
How'd I get off on this tangent? No matter. Let's get to those last few challenge responses instead.
#CandleLoversFeb20 Days 21 - 29
Yeah, I know. There are more than seven days in this post and two of them come after this post goes out. I try to prep my IG posts ahead of time when there are only one or two days left in a challenge. Here are the challenge prompts for this last week:
#1WordPromptChallenge Days 21 - 29
So I know I don't have responses for all of these prompts. I am making slow progress with my editing, though. This past weekend didn't help much for working on edits but it was good to visit with family and have some time away from home.
Here are the prompts.
#AssassinsDaughter Challenge Days 21 - 29
Adding this photo challenge to the ones I was already working on might not have been the best idea. However, I try to support my fellow indies when they host these types of things. For these, if the books are in a stack, I'm just going to note my favorite within the stack.
Here are the final prompts:
I've been learning more about how to use the relationships, character arcs, and timeline pages on Campfire Pro. I think those are really going to come in useful when I start planning a new book. I'm not so sure they're going to be a huge help right now with the two books I'm self editing.
I've also been working on both Surge and The Tale of Outh'n Durr. I have to be honest, though. The bulk of my efforts have been spent on Outh'n's tale. I'm really enjoying working with that, even though there have been some intense moments of frustration.
Don't forget to keep checking Wattpad to read what I've been able to post and stay up to date. If you follow me, you'll get updates through the app or in your notification tab on the site when I post new chapters. I've got five chapters uploaded and published so far. I'm looking forward to getting some more published next week, with a view to having the full story up by the end of March. I'll keep you posted!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read up to this point. :) Your continued support and encouragement is appreciated more than you know. Have a lovely, safe weekend!
