As promised last week, I've got some contemporary romance book reviews for you today. I hope you'll see something that interests you. Read on to check out what I thought of these two books.
Book Review: Her Heart for the Asking by Lisa Mondello
![]() My rating: 4 of 5 stars I enjoyed this second-chance love story. Novels set in Texas always bring me back to the time I spent there. The scenery is varied and indeed beautiful. This author has done a good job of painting just enough of the scenery I can really set myself in that place. There were a few typos but none were terrible. The book was easy to read and great to take my mind off my painful stuffy head and sinuses. The characters were believable. I enjoyed seeing their growth, where they came from and what they're doing now. They progress and grow naturally throughout the story. Even though it's not a long book, it didn't seem rushed. I felt like everything a reader would need to know was there. This book would be enjoyed by anyone who loves clean reads, cowboy romance, contemporary romance, and second-chance romance. Why not give it a try? View all my reviews Book Review: Her Last First Kiss by Liz Isaacson
![]() My rating: 5 of 5 stars I'm finding I enjoy Liz Isaacson's writing style. She keeps her stories clean and inspirational without them being preachy. She also pays attention to details when it comes to her characters and their professions. They are usually well-fleshed out and their backstories match how they are presented in the story's present time. This tale was no different. I truly enjoyed reading this story. The path from past to present, from despair to hope, from dying dreams to beautiful reality kept me turning virtual pages. If you enjoy reading stories written with skill and consistency, stories which are clean and inspirational, and stories with happy endings, you should give this one a try. Have you read these books yet? Did you see something that interested you? I'd love to hear what you think in the comments below.
Also, you may have noticed (well, maybe you did and maybe you didn't but...) I haven't tagged the authors' Twitter accounts in the notification I share from Weebly to my Twitter account. I have just cut that corner for this month since I'm so busy. I'll tag authors again, starting in January. Until then, if they have set up their Goodreads pages, then you should be able to find their social media profiles by clicking on the Goodreads links above. Those links will take you to the book information. You then click on the author's name (which is bold and under the title of the book). Once their Goodreads author page opens, look on the right to find their linked accounts. Follow them where you can to show them you support their hard work. Comments are closed.
