Robin Takes The Scenic Route

#WIPjoy Days 27 - 29 & Upcoming Challenges

7/30/2018

This month just flew by!  I'm not really ready for August just yet. School planning is finally underway and I'm tossing around the idea of getting my school blog going again. I will probably post weekly there. I don't think I could post daily on both blogs. Do any of you have more than one blog or vlog which you update daily? How many of you have a family, too? And of those, how many teach your children at home? (These are rhetorical questions. Please do not raise your hands. :D )
Starting on August 27th, I'm going to start scheduling my posts so I can write them whenever I have a spare moment. I hate having to change up the schedule that's actually been working for me, but with the curriculum change, the schedule must be changed to match. I'll figure it out. I always do.
Read on to find out more about my current writing challenge and the new ones I'll be starting August 1st.

I feel this last frame needs a little explanation. Master Tor takes his tasks seriously. But if he had a choice, he'd rather win the heart of his soulmate. And Liha is a little dreamer. She would definitely be more interested in winning the heart of her soulmate.

#WIPjoy Days 28-29 - Which character is most chill? Which is least?

I had a hard time figuring out which of my characters was least chill. This particular challenge question may have pointed out a problem. I'll have to pay close attention to those guys while I'm revising.

Upcoming Challenges

There are two challenges I spotted in my Instagram feed which caught my eye. One is shorter, about a week. The other runs for the entire month. Both are fairly easy. The month-long challenge is more of a consistency of posting, rather than dealing specifically with writing. I find it's far too easy for me to forget about my social media these days. I have so much going on right now. This way, I'll be more likely to keep posting. Photos below...and if you want to join in, just check out the links where I found them by clicking on the photos. (I have to confess, I haven't yet followed the people who originally posted the TBR challenge. Y'all check out @booktubeathon & @arielbisset! I'll be doing that today!)
2018 TBR (To Be Read) Reading Challenge
I'll be creating videos for each of these which I will post to my YouTube channel starting August 5th. This is yet another self-challenge to jar me into posting more often to my channel. There's a serious block there. :(

#TheAugustBreak2018  Month of Mindfulness "Challenge"
This isn't so much a challenge as it is an encouragement. That's one of the reasons I chose it. I can use the prompts -- or not. I can post every day -- or not. The choice really is up to me. But it's a photo challenge and I'm looking forward to it. (Please also check out Susanna Conway who originally posted the challenge.)
