I almost missed posting my response for the first day of my own challenge! Can you believe that? I would've laughed aloud but my husband was already sleeping. If you decide to join me in this challenge, please share your own responses. I'd love to read about your writing process and see what you're working on. Just be sure you use the hashtag #writingthesenseschallenge so I can find your posts. I'll be looking for them on Instagram and here on the blog. If you share to facebook, I probably won't see them. :( But please don't let that stop you! Happy writing challenge! Read on to see my responses for the first two days. Week 1 - Day 1 : Sights Inspiration & Day 2 : Sounds Inspiration Week one is all about creating sense inspiration boards. I love creating them because they really spark my imagination and jump-start my writing. Day 1 : Sights Inspiration Boards Day 2: Sounds Inspiration Board These are some of the sounds that inspired certain settings of my story. Some of them, I'd like to incorporate into the story. The sketch for this one, which is coming next week, should be lots of fun. Stay tuned for tomorrow's post which is focused on Day 3. It's all about tastes which inspire(d) my writing for OLUS. I'm looking forward to creating that one, I can tell you! I am from Louisiana after all and we appreciate flavorful food around here. :D
